Status page JSON checker
Type a status page hostname such as www.githubstatus.com and this page calls its /api/v2/summary.json from your browser, the way your own front-end code would. It reports the overall indicator, the number of components and any open incidents. If the browser blocks the call, the service does not send CORS headers or the host is not a Statuspage-compatible page, and a server-side request is the fix. Nothing is sent to Plainwork: the request goes straight from your browser to the host you enter.
How to read the result
- Indicator: none means all operational; minor, major and critical mean something is open.
- Could not read it: a browser gives one error for a missing CORS header, a dead host and a host that is not serving JSON there, so it cannot tell you which. Try the URL in a terminal with curl to find out.
- Only a snapshot: a green result now says nothing about the last hour. Poll every 60 seconds or slower and keep the history.
The Status Endpoint Atlas lists 246 services whose summary.json was fetched and parsed on 9 Oct 2026, with feed and CORS columns for each.
