Plainwork / Chasebook / Chasebook: unpaid invoice chase list

Chasebook

A calm daily list of which unpaid invoices to chase today, with wording for each step, a log of what the client promised, and UK statutory late-payment interest worked out for you. It works with invoices from any source: you type in a few details. Your invoices are stored on our server and open from any device with your workspace link.

How it works

  1. Create a free workspace. You get a private link: save it, because it is your only way back in. There is no email and no password.
  2. Add each unpaid invoice with its client, amount and due date. Chasebook shows which ones need a nudge today and which can wait.
  3. Open an invoice, pick a tone, edit the suggested message and send it yourself from your own email or chat. Chasebook never contacts your clients.
  4. Log what you did and any date they promise. The list waits for that date, then flags it if payment has not arrived.

What is kept, and what is not

We keep the invoices, notes and contacts you type and the server time of each change. We do not store an email address, your name unless you type it into settings, or your IP address. Chasebook is a record-keeping and wording aid. It is not legal, tax or debt-collection advice. For the interest rules, read the free late payment interest and reminder tool.

Free and paid

The free plan holds 5 open invoices with the full chase list, messages and interest. The paid plan is $5 a month for up to 500 open invoices, a client reliability report, a calendar feed and CSV export. Totals also have a ceiling: a free workspace holds 200 invoices in all, paid ones included, and a paid one 3,000, so delete old paid invoices when you no longer need them. See the plan.
