Binder index maker
For a loose-leaf game master's binder that files sheets by number, never alphabetically. Type each sheet's name as you start using it; the tool gives it the next number and a tab to file it behind, and builds the A to Z index and the number-order register you can print. The tab is recorded on both the register line and the index line, so you can find a sheet from either. It runs in your browser. Nothing you type is sent anywhere; the list is kept in this browser only so it is still here next time.
How it files. A leading "The", "A" or "An" is skipped (so "The Ember Court" is under E), accents are ignored (Elodie with an accent is under E), and names that start with a digit or symbol go under 0-9. Numbers are assigned in the order you add entries; type a number in the box to use your own. Accents and letters such as ß, Æ and Ø are filed under their plain letter (S, A and O). This is the free helper. The printed binder with its fixed index sheets and the sheets themselves is the Append Binder pack.
No entries yet. Add the first sheet above, for example "Ashfall", the campaign overview.

How to use the result
Write the No. from the register in the corner of each sheet and file it at the back of the tab shown beside it. The index line gives the tab and the No., so you open that tab and turn to that No. The method is explained in how to organize a DM binder, which also has five free sample sheets.
